NNEC Relay for Life

The NNEC /Wawatay Relay for Life Committee will meet on Tuesday May 5th and June 2 at 12 noon Wahsa Boardroom.  Bring your brown bag lunch and your fundraising ideas.  If you are unable to make the meeting, please email Gilligan@nnec.on.ca for ideas.    We are needing volunteers to help with our fundraisers and to help with our Team setup and cleanup on June 5th or if you enjoy walking, come and walk a few laps with our team.

If you are unable to participate, we would appreciate your support in our fundraisers or by pledging a member of the team.  Each team member is responsible for collecting a minimum of $100.00 in pledges  and as a team we have also committed to fundraise an additional $1000.

2 - Tailgate Sale Wahsa Parking Lot - we are seeking donations of baked goods and items for this event.  We will also be selling pop and hotdogs and will be requesting staff to donate packages of hotdogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, relish, napkins and pop.  Or come out and volunteer your time at this event! (will be rescheduled if weather does not cooperate)

Relay For Life is a 12 hour, non-competitive, overnight event. Teams of 10 people - family, friends, neighbours, co-workers - take turns walking around a track to raise funds to make cancer history.
